Cashless payments using cards, wallet and Bank account transactions at Merchant terminal has become the preferred mode of purchase for most customers. This presents an immense opportunity for Banks and Acquirers to build a business that provides not an excellent revenue opportunity but also access to rich data set for cross-sell of other products to Merchants and Consumer alike. Merchant transactions are also showing a trend from device to deviceless acquisition which requires low investments for the merchant and the acquirer. Merchant Management
Merchant management module supports onboarding of Merchants. We support multi-hierarchy merchants, such as Master merchant, Sub-merchant, Merchant outlets< Merchant Terminals and users. Adequate KYC details and other contact details, including geo-tag details are captured. Corporate management, Merchant management, Merchant terminal management, Merchant user management, Office management, Role management, Employee management, Merchant product management, Merchant role management, Master data management, Document management, Notification management are a few key features of this module.

Terminal and Inventory Management
Terminal management features include - assigning a terminal Id to a physical card swipe device & Key management for the terminal. Key management can be done by injecting keys into a device using an offline application and integrating the same with HSM. Alternatively, Novopay can integrate with an external TMS (Terminal management system) for the needful. Novopay merchant App can be seamlessly integrated with mobile POS (mPOS) devices via SDK integration in a PCIDSS compliant manner. Terminal management module also allows to remotely activate, block and unblock card swipe devices. Inventory management system allows creation and tracking of inventory of devices, including a workflow to support movement of inventory from procurement till delivery to a merchant location.

Transaction Management
Transaction management helps Merchants to receive payment via multiple modes such as Card swipe, Sending a payment link, UPI collect, Wallet debit request and Aadhaar pay. Transaction initiation, cancellation, Void, Refund are supported. Key features of this module are - Transaction management, Limits management, Pricing and Commission management, Taxes (e.g.GST) management and industry adapters available under transaction management are Aadhaar pay, Payment gateways, mPOS devices, UPI, wallet aggregation platform etc. Managing complex and multiple fees and charges is supported, such as monthly rentals and transaction acquisition fee that often varies based on payment protocol, amount and instrument used.

Chargeback Management
Chargeback management module allows customer chargebacks requests to be captured and manage the workflow around chargeback. Merchant can view charge requests and provide their inputs and upload transaction receipts for challenging the chargeback. System allows stoppage of settlement and parking of the disputed amount in an internal escrow GL. After the verdict is arrived, settlement of the amount in favour of customer (as reversal to the payment instrument) or in favour of merchant (settlement to merchant account) is supported.

Recon Settlement
Recon & Settlement module helps to perform two way and three way reconciliation of merchant transactions. Reconciliations can be auto-scheduled basis the defined and exceptions can be managed through front-end interface. Merchant settlements can be defined specific to a merchant or category of merchants. Settlement can be automatically set up to an external Bank account of the merchant or to an escrow account. System can process bulk request to release escrow holds to merchants based on specific request or as a automated schedules.

Merchants can access their merchant account through web based and app based interface. Merchants can view list of transactions, download transaction statements, view settlement history, view and counter chargeback transactions, Search transactions and view Fees and Charges.

Merchant Dashboards
Merchant Dashboards leverages the state-of-art BI platform to offer GIS and analytical dashboards to track Merchant acquisition business. Several dashboards such Geo presence dashboard, Merchant level drill-down, Acquisition dashboard and Payment dashboards are provided out of the box. Using the BI platform, several beespoke dashboards can be created rapidly.
